Starbucks

I haven't heard of one yet.

For the best coffee on property you have to go to the Polynesian.
If you eat at any of the restaurants there be sure to order Coffee.
I wish they served that coffee at the other hotels, its heavenly.

I agree that the Hawaiian (Kona) coffee is very good, but I don't believe it is served at all of the restaurants in the Poly. You need to ask for it to be sure. I know you can get it at the Kona Cafe for sure and at the coffee cart near the Kona (monorail level of the Poly).

The African coffee (served in a press pot) is also very good. You can get that at the AKL (Boma or Jiko) and last time I checked, it was also available for purchase (ground or whole bean) at Mara (food court associated with AKL).

I think, but am not entirely sure that you can get Starbucks at Tubbi's (in the Dolphin Hotel).

Pretty much everything else at WDW is Nescafe. I don't care for that at all.

Other than what I mentioned, if you want good coffee, you either have to go off property or bring/brew your own. YMMV.

Thanks for the input. I'll check Dolphin for sure and leave an update. I'll also be visiting Boma and Poly to check the others out. As a NY'r, I need my morning fix.pirate:

Starbucks coffee is served during breakfast at "Fresh" in the Dolphin. :)

DH lives for his refillable mug with Starbucks coffee. I think that the coffee bar at the Swan serves it also.

Nope, starbucks has joined the universal family! yipeee!

Anyway..there are still some good places to get coffee at wdw...the pressed pot at boma, the coffee stand on the boardwalk...used to be the best coffees at the marketplace gourmet pantry..don't know where you can get them now in dtd. I sure hope somewhere there still makes those great coffees!

We nearly always stay at the BWV and I've not tried the coffee at Joe's (coffee stand on the boardwalk). Unfortunately, it's not been open in the morning when we've been there. The coffee has always looked and smelled good when we walked by in the evening, but I can't wait until the afternoon/evening for my coffee!

Last December when I checked out the Gourmet Pantry area of the MarketPlace (not sure what they are calling it now), all they had was "Mickey" brand coffee. Got a sample of that (and also of the colored Princess cocoa). It was OK, but no where near the quality of Caribou or Starbucks.

We just buy/bring our own coffee and brew a pot or two in our room every morning.

I don't mean the mickey brand coffee..lol, I mean the great coffee drinks that were made behind the counter at gourmet pantry...yummy.

I can't believe they aren't opening the coffee stand on the boardwalk in the morning...ugh...what is wrong with disney these days.

I'm kind of disappointed to hear that Starbucks has made its way into WDW. I was hoping that might be the one place on earth Starbucks wouldn't infiltrate. :p
