Starbucks and the dining plan

From what I understand you can use snack credits for any size drinks. What if you want to add extra shots or flavors is it still covered on the dining plan? Has anyone used their snack credits for Starbucks. Do you feel it's a better value to use the snack credits for Starbucks and pay out of pocker for things like pretzels and popcorn? Thanks for your input!

We used snack credits for beverages when we were at Starbucks in Epcot. My DD ordered a double chocolately chip frappuccino (LARGE; venti I believe). It was HUGE! If you can finish it (I had to help her) then it is a great use of a snack credit (IMO) because it is over $5.00. We just look at the price of things and if they are $4.00 + we use a snack credit. If lower than $4 we pay OOP. If you look at the link on the disboards (snack thread) it will tell you snack options all over WDW and their prices. It's an amazing thread. I don't have the link, but maybe someone here will know it and post it. The DISer running that thread has done an incredible amount of research and put in a lot of time. Planning snacks are fun! This is fantastic news! My fiancé and I check in on the 19th, and last time I was there, was fall of 2012, and the Nescafé coffee just didn't do the trick.

I'm studying up on stuff and making plans to maximize my snack credits. This coffee addict is a happy girl!
