OK all you creative folks--I need help! I just discovered this board, and am already on my way to some terrific shirt ideas for my kids' first trip in June. However, we will be there on Father's Day for Star Wars weekend (which they are both VERY excited about). I found terrific shirt ideas for my DS9 and my DH, but does anyone have a Star Wars/Disney related idea for my DD5 and I? I wish they had come out with a Princess Leia-type Minnie, but no such luck!! We may just have to wear Jedi Mickey. . .

If you go to photobucket and do a search for Muppet Wars there are some pics of Miss Piggy as Princess Leia. I know it's not Minnie, but the Muppets are at MGM, so this might work.

Will this work??

it is not Princess Leia but at least it is disney related....
if you want me to add or remove anything, let me know :goodvibes
Greetings Pat

This is the only graphic I could find with Minnie Star Wars. I am not sure if it is feminine enough or not. But thought it was worth a shot.

Those look great! I thought that I had finished DD's shirts for our trip, but I may need to do this one. Those are both wonderful!

Awesome, Pat!!! My kids BOTH loved it! I had found all these Darth Vader ones, and some Yoda, but this one pleased both kids!! THANK YOU! As my DS9 just said "You ROCK!" This will be what the whole family wears on our first day there.
pixiedust: Pixie dust for you!

Pat and Amy,

Both of you have great designs. Thanks for sharing.

Being new to this, I hope you don't mind my asking, but how do you take a design like the ones you posted and put them on a t-shirt?

Thanks so much for your help.

My hubby created shirts for us last year using a collage of various pictures we found on the net of our favorite characters. My son had Kit Fisto, daughter Shaak Ti, mine was Princess Leia, and his was Greedo. When we met Kit Fisto and Shaak Ti, the kids were so proud to show them their shirts and the characters made a big deal about them. You can barely see them in the picture to the right. Okay, and I admit that Princess Leia really liked my shirt and I thought that was cool too.

We used special paper you can put in your color printer and then you iron the designs on. There is a clear and a white background depending on how you prefer your design. If you are using darker shirts, be sure to get the kind specially made for this. Office Depot is where we've always found the paper packs.

Hope that helps!

Pat - My hubby and I love your design!

Hi new here but we are taking my nephew for a surprise Star wars weekend trip for his 8th grade graduation and would love to be able to have matching shirts with the design that M I C K E Y (Amy) has. Can you please tell me how to do that. I had looked at your designs earlier and love them. Thanks so much.

Kristina,

Just right click the image and 'save as' on to your computer. If you need any other help, you can always pm me if you'd like.

We went to Star Wars Weekend last year and had so much fun! :darth: :yoda:

You will be so glad you made shirts for your kids. Everyone we saw loved my sons' shirts and kept asking where we bought them. The SWW shirts that they sold were black and not so cute and everyone wanted to buy cute shirts for their kids. Disney could have made a lot more money if they had sold kid friendly shirts!

You've had lots of great designs posted already, but here are 2 more that we used - they were designed by momof2oh.

Hi There! You were so kind to design my son a birthday shirt for our upcoming WDW trip. Thanks! We LOVE it! We were just now looking at your other designs and he fell in love w/ some Star Wars designs. Do you think that you could design him a birthday Star Wars Mickey shirt? I would want his name (James) and something like "It's My Birthday".

Here's the fun part....we are leaving on Friday, so I will make the shirt tomorrow. If you don't have time to do it, I totally understand. He likes some of the shirts on this thread, just to give you an idea.

Thanks!!
Suzanne

We are going for both my kids birthdays and my 40th b-day, plus we are going on the cruise.....WoooHooo!
