When I was planning a really brief 1-day visit to WDW this past May, I noticed it was Star Wars weekend (or something like that) at Disney Studios during the Memorial weekend. We weren't going to DS at the time so I didn't really pay attention.

Turns out, we'll be back at WDW for a mini vacation during Memorial Weekend 2004 (May 29 - June 2). It would be a wonderful surprise for my DS11 if the special Stars Wars events returned next year while we're there.

Do the Star Wars days occur on a predictable schedule? Are they annual? Always at the Studios? Can anyone advise on the best way to find out?

Thanks.
Kelley

Here's a link with some historical info on Star Wars weekends:

The event was unexpectedly small in 2002 because George Lucas decided to schedule his own promotional activities to tie-in with the new movie release. So, if nothing else, use that as an indicator that things can, and do, change.

The event is historically held in the late-May to early-June timeframe. It is always at Disney Studios. You probably wont see any 2004 announcements until at least March, but looks like your trip falls in the best window of opportunity.

It is usually around Mid-May and the actual events on each weekend are fairly easily scheduled. I'd say if you go on Memorial Day Weekend you have a pretty good chance of being there for them, but the dates wont come out for a few months.
