Just wanted to say unrelated to the movie how great it is how people have followed the spoiler rule. I have a Star Wars related group I’m in on Facebook, and despite there being a two week ban on spoilers, people are dropping them left and right. As someone who saw the movie opening night, I’m glad most everyone here has been considerate to those who haven’t had the time to see it yet

My RoS clock is finally under 24 hours now. Thank you to everyone in this thread who's kept it a "safe space" that I can still click on!

This time tomorrow my eyes will be glued to the big screen.

for whatever plot issues there are with TROS, I enjoyed the spectacle and really wanted to see it again in theaters, which I couldn't say as much for the last few films.

Did any one else notice that the "sunset" at the end was actually a sunrise?

This resolves the issues people took with TLJ's version of Luke. I personally was fine with it because people change in 30 years so maybe of course Luke wasn't this eternally optimistic kid anymore. But you know, here's a fix right here.

There also was another resolution/fix in the movie. Disney was some of those people, and slapped RJ across the face when Luke grabbed the Saber and says "a Jedi's weapon deserves more respect". Yet he did the exact same thing in front of Rey in TLJ./SPOILER]

See, I took that as a winking comment, him being sarcastic since not trying to undo what he did in TLJ - more moving on from it, learning from it, while having a bit of fun

I thought about that, but Rey doing it after he had done it, made it seem it had to be worked into the movie for appeasement. Not so much the growth of Luke-esp at this point

Well, I disagree - I think it was to show she was going to head back down the path Luke was going down by Like had learned that wasn't the right way - that he was acting out of fear (and we all know what that leads to) - so he was there to teach that lesson to Rey just like Yoda did to him in TLJ

But it's a movie, we don't have to see it the same way

Yep. I kinda wish he was a Battlefield fan. That is my franchise and unfortunately BFV isn't in a real good place so we need all the help we can get lol.

LOL Well, it’s not the best game I’ve ever played, but it’s a Star Wars game, so I play it There’s a new game that was just released, ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’. It looks pretty good.

Fallen Order is my favorite Star Wars game since 'Knights of the Old Republic' which was YEARS ago. Note that it's not a Battlefield/Battlefront style game. It's single player story based action/adventure. It plays similar to the PS4 Uncharted or God of War games, while the gameplay is lightsaber based with a lot of blocking and parrying. Respawn (the developers) have been releasing patches to iron out some bugs, making it only better!

DS is getting Switch from Santa, and DD is inheriting his Xbox One, so I might have to convince one of them we need to buy it The only story based game (if you want to call it that) that I’ve played recently was Hello Neighbor!!!!! It’s creepy and weird, yet strangely fun to play! It will also scare the crap out of you!!! But I couldn’t put it down. Played HN Hide and Seek too, but not as good. I like games like Fortnite and GTA.

Thanks!! Aging PC’s and new games usually don’t go well together. ‘Santa’ just got DD a gaming laptop for Christmas - might be able to get something like that just for games. (If that the way you’d rather play.) Can find them at reasonable prices now. Good luck!!!
