Hi! We are planning a short trip next weekend and I'm so excited! I thought we'd probably avoid DHS because of the SWW crowds, but I really want the kids to see Disney Jr and the Muppet Show. How are the crows for that weekend if you're not doing all the traditional SWW stuff like seeing characters/parades, etc? Will we be able to move around to do what we're interested in?

We were there last Friday which is widely reputed to be by far the least crowded day (I have no basis for comparison). The ride times seemed about in keeping with what they would normally have been on a Friday, but there were a *lot* of people. It was crowded. Crowded enough that everyone in my family agreed it was better to stay start to finish and see all the special events in one day than to come back the next day when the crowds were supposed to be worse.

That's the only time we've ever been, but based on what it was like when we were there I would tell you that on Friday we were able to move around even though it was crowded, but if the crowds on Saturday are as much higher as I have heard that they are you might be really impeded moving around.

Last Friday was unique because it was the first day of SWW and was probably the busiest Friday of the entire season. For most SWW days, if you are only doing normal park stuff, it won't be too bad.

That's good to hear, rose lark! Jennytoon I think I will cross my fingers and try to brave the crowds!
