Could this be a possible replacement for the vast majority of Tomorrowland that everyone is saying needs to happen?

That's what I was thinking. There is so much talk about a large refurbishment of Tomorrow Land.
None of my family got the survey yet either.

There is a Thread on the Theme Parks section that a WDW version of the survey was also sent out.

I just read a short article about a Star Wars land possibility.

That would be awesome! I would love it.

Although it might be better suited to CA than Disneyland but I guess it could be a real makeover for tomorrowland. But would they really do away with tomorrowland?

It would sort of be the same but completely different at the same time. Yes it would be a futuristic type of land but wouldn't be the land that everyone has known for so long.

Would this be the first of the original lands to be replaced?

While I love the idea of a Star Wars land I'm not sure how I feel about taking out a land that was part of Walt's original plans for the park. But maybe it woulnd't be as big a change as I'm thinking.

That does sound interesting, but instead of calling it Star Wars land why not instead George Lucas land? Because that is what it would be. Ah.... the smell of the rich becoming richer, it must be a lovely thing... apart from that as much as I like Star Wars, I would not personally care for all of Tomorrowland being replaced by really anything that I can think of off hand. So no thank you.

I got the survey! It took well over an hour to complete! Started off like a normal DL survey then went to all Star Wars questions.
