Star Wars: Episode 8 postponed

Long Story short, Disney moved Star Wars episode 8 from July 2017, to December 2017. But they didn't give a reason. My theory is that they saw how well The Force Awakens did and want to totally remove any "summer blockbuster" competition for Star Wars. If they release these in December, they will always win the day. After all, it's Star Wars.

I personally thought that a year and a half was an awful short lead time. If this insures a better movie, than so be it. Unfortunately this means we won't get a movie released on the 40th anniversary.

Well, that's good with me. That means we can use SW as our movie for our traditional anniversary movie date.
