Star Wars at HS - can you get Fps for character meet and greets?

I am trying to plan our F&G and Star Wars trip!

I am debating between the two character meals - one would appeal more to my DH and one would appeal more to kids!

Can you meet Jedi Mickey in the park with a FP? Is his line traditionally long? Who else is he with?

What about Darth Vader or a Stormtrooper? Can you meet them with FPs?

Are they easy to meet without Fps?

I need to do more research! With our two little eons, I can't see us spending all of our time in meet and greets.

Also, would you plan to spend the whole day at the park or would you come early take a mid day break and come back for fireworks?

None of the Star Wars characters meet with a FP+. There are some roaming characters during SWW. But most have standby meeting locations. The SW character meals had dark side at the Sci-Fi Dine In breakfast and the Fab 4 in SW costume at H &V dinner.

Originally, we were only going to do the Galactic breakfast. But when there was such a frenzy to book the meals, I booked the H&V dinner, just in case. We ended up keeping both. It was a great way to get some fantastic SWW character photos without waiting in long, hot lines. Last year, you could meet one (each set was one character at a time) of the Fab 4 at the M &G at Darth's Mall. At H&V there was the opportunity to meet them. We canceled this ADR after we were able to see them all at the Rebel Rendezvous.

We did the breakfast on May 4th. It was fabulous. Met jawa, Darth Vader, stormtroopers, Boba Fett, and Greedo.

Hopefully, Disney will soon announce SWW dates and open dining. I'd expect to see another premium package too.
