Planning now for a trip next month. Start time for Fantasmic of 8:00. Start time for Star Wars firework show at 7:30. Safe to assume there is no way to see both?
I'm very interested in this question also. We will be at WDW in early October and would really love to see Star Wars Symphony in the Skies, but I can't seem to find it on any of the time schedules. What am I missing?

I would suggest you check into the SW thread ((link in my signature) I'm sure we will have reports of people going with these new hours. If F! is not full you might be able to make it, but that would be a big if. SWaGS is 12 minutes long
I'm assuming this will continue past the summer? I was considering doing the dessert party (just came back from DLR and we did a dessert party there and DH is hooked!) Was looking to see which night we could sneak this in during our Christmas trip and it wasn't on the calendar.
