Star Tours 3-D Preview Event at Aventura Mall

I am blessed to live just a few blocks from Aventura Mall, so when just last night I found out that Disney would be having a Star Tours 3D Preview Event at the mall today, I rushed right over.

There were already quite a few people at the event when I arrived before 11 AM.

There was a stage set up, but there was no show - other than a photo opportunity.

Yours truly with R2D2 and C3PO.

Each guest was given a special set of Mickey Ears.

Jedi Mickey was there to take photos.

As was Princess Minnie.

Guests were given a printed photo by these lovely cast members.

There was really no further information about the new attraction.

Guests were also given a card with a code on it where they could play around with a photo taken with a green screen background.

Very cool! I can't believe Mickey and Minnie were there! I'm not really a Star Wars fan, but I definitely would have went if that was at my mall.

I know you said there is not much information on the new attraction, but I was wondering about the ride vehicle is it still going to be the same as the older attraction. Never was a fan of that big pod it made me feel super claustrophobic
