Star of the seas Royal Caribbean

I've been looking at Royal Caribbean Star of the seas cruise ship will have a musical show called back to the future and it's got an rope obstacle course and big water park that looks great fun.

It will be interesting to see how they bring Back to the Future the Musical to the ship. We saw the touring production (twice) and both nights it had tech issues that paused the show (different cities). The main WOW factor of that musical really is the car and the technical achievements- the original songs over all are lacking IMO but the second half is better than the first half and I really wonder if they are going to be able to pull off the flying car sequence while at sea in its current form. I somehow doubt it.

Just fyi there is a show called flight on symphony of the seas during which a wright brothers style plane flies over the audience with an actor in it. It’s pretty cool! So I think they can do it! it’s probably much harder for a touring show to do technical things like that because you need to set it up new in each theater.

Just want to say we sailed its sister ship Icon of the Seas in April and it was INCREDIBLE! We can’t wait to sail again and try our Star of the Seas!
