Standard or Garden View at BC?

DH and I will be staying at the Beach Club for the first time at the end of October, to celebrate our 25th. Since that resort is not cheap, I booked a standard-view room. But I noticed a garden-view room is only $10 per night extra, so now I'm thinking I should re-book that instead. For only ten bucks difference though, would the view be THAT much better than standard?

A standard view is of the parking lot or roof tops. Garden view is "something green". We had a garden view on our last trip there and it was of the roof tops of BCV and a gully of vines (something green). When I mentioned it to the front desk though, they refunded me the $10 extra per night and said they would look into whether it was miscategorized.

We chose garden view at the Yacht Club for this trip and I am hoping for an actual garden to look at. I don't spend that much time on my balcony, but I do like to open the shades in the morning and take in some Disney atmosphere to get the day started. For $10/night, I'd rather look at a garden than a parking lot.

the standard is usually the parking lot vew. For $1o a garden view is nicer. if you also want a balcony you have to ask for one.

I would definitely spend the extra for garden! Unless, of course, you will never take advantage of the view/balcony. The difference in view is worth it, IMO.
