I just booked a Standard King Room at RPH for the end of June. My 17 year old Son will be travelling with us. They told me in reservations that he would be able to utilize the sofa bed.

I have never stayed on site -- and actually haven't even been to Universal since way back when it was only Universal. Are there any particular areas of the hotel that I might want to request over another area - and why?

Thanks so much! :sunny:

Sixth floor, Tower 3, water view would be the be the best view of both the pool and the park.

We paid for a standard view. I'm more looking at which area of the hotel is most convenient to the parks/pools/eating, etc. :sunny:

Convenience in order is 3, 1, 2. Try for a lower floor to avoid the I-4 view.

We were in 1142 - tower one. First floor. I thought this was a nice location because when you come out of the doors you are right by the pool, restaurants and path to the parks. We also had a standard King Room. We were at the end of the hall to the right.

I prefer Tower 1 and always had luck getting a room on a high floor with view of the park. These would be considered Standard (no view of the pool). As far as convenience, Tower 3 is closer to the water taxi. Tower 1 is closer to the Orchid Court Lounge (for breakfast snacks) and the walking path to Citywalk. Both Tower 3 and Tower 1 are convenient to the pool. I have never stayed in Tower 2 but it is the furthest away from everything.
