standard and full size cars at MCO for Alamo now separated?

Just read someone's post on another thread that standard and full size now have their own aisles (Alamo) at MCO- anyone there now that can verify?

I have not read that anywhere else, and would be very interested since I booked a standard in lieu of a full size. Is this the post you mean, on the Oct rental thread:

"I called Alamo and asked about the standard and fullsize being on the same aisle at MCO. I called that specific location and they said they are separate aisles now. Not sure if I believed her but since I really need the space I am going with a fullsize."

I'll wait to see what people just coming back say. Usually the price difference is pretty small between the two size classes for Orlando- for my rental its under 10 for almost two weeks.

We just got back two weeks ago and we rented a standard, but, picked up our car in the full size aisle. Maybe they changed it in the past two weeks, but, it seems very unlikely

Yes- that was the one that I saw. Hoping it's incorrect as well, simply because I'd hate to have to cancel my rental and start all over LOL Especially since I can never remember the codes I used

Anyone recently returned that can comment on this? I currently have both a full and standard booked and want to make sure I can get a full with my standard reservation before I cancel.

How does the insider option work? Do you rent full size and choose whatever is in the full size aisle. I'm a national rental girl, but booked Alamo for September. I too booked a standard, but we are only 2 so no big deal for us.

With Alamo you book the size class of car that you want, then pick the vehicle you like from that particular aisle.
As an insider member, you can do the "on-line check-in" before you leave home and print the paperwork. When you arrive at MCO, collect your luggage and just head straight out to the garage. Pick a car from the aisle that you reserved, load up and drive to the exit gate (keys are in the vehicles). At the exit gate, present your check-in paperwork, your drivers license and the credit card you used to check-in. The attendant will scan everything and you are on your way.
