Stan & Randy -How far in advance do they contact before wedding day

We re getting married at SBP in early May

I was just wondering when we re likely to be hearing from Randy & Stan to run through everything?

I was reading another thread where a bride whos getting married in Sept has been asked for songs etc from her videographer but we ve not been asked for any such info by Stan. We signed our contract mid last year with him, balance is due in 3 weeks but we ve gone through nothing with him.

Randy we ve been in a lot of contact with ( via email)since mid last year so am much more relaxed that he knows exactly what we want etc .

Any advice re when we should hear from them would be greatly appreciated

I was just going to give them a call maybe this week or next if I don't hear from them. I know Bonnie (Stan's wife) e-mailed me that Stan would be contacting me about 1 month prior and Linda (Randy's wife) told me the same thing when I made our last payment (still have one more to do!)...

You can always contact them to go over everything as well I suppose (Especially if you might be feeling anxious or whatnot etc.)...

We paid the deposit a year a go when we first booked him & was told to pay the balance on wedding day. It would be great if he does take the rest of the payment beforehand as we d rather pay for everything before we fly out.

I'm getting married June 6 this year. And I called randy last night at like 8:30!! lol and booked him so call him!! I love his photos I think he does a great job! And hes cheaper then disney

We ve already booked him, we did so a year a go. Before you get married the photographer/videographer are suppose to get in contact. Im just curious to know when thats gonna be as we leave in 4 weeks. Its good to know another May brides waiting to hear from them to

We paid 1/3 when we booked him like a year ago or so and our contract says another third was due at 4 months out and then the final third is like 2 weeks before the wedding....

I'm sure he'll take your $ early!

It is interesting that his contracts are different when it comes to payment/deposits though....I wonder why...hmm....

We Booked Randy a year out, but I would call him when ever to see if he has your date open. Congrates for it being so close. Hope you get Randy, your going to love him.

I did not talk to Randy until the week I left for FL and I called him. If you are worried about when they will call you, call them!! I did not expect Randy to call me so i called him to make sure he had the date and time correct!!

I called Linda a gave her my final payment by phone with a CC so im sure they wont tell you no if you want to pay before you leave. She also still had the CC that I paid my deposit with and asked me if I wanted to use it. ( I used a differnt CC over the Phone)

Just like everyone else has said youll LOVE randy!!

That bride was probably me. I'm using A Moment to Remember for the videography. The reason why I was asking for help on songs was because in the back of the contract was a 5 page editing worksheet. It's not due until 2 weeks out though.

My suggestion is to call them when you get the chance. It'll help ease your mind and it wouldn't hurt to touch base. Good luck to you!

Ok, well I just e-mailed Bonnie and asked about when I should expect to receive my final paperwork and questionaire etc....I'll definitely follow up with a call next week if I don't hear anything...our final payment is due April 17th in two weeks!!
