Y'all have such great ideas so hope you can help.

Just took a good look at our stainless sink, and yuck! I clean it daily so its clean but discolored. And there's a tiny little spot that almost looks like rust! ICKY! And it won't come off.

So what do you use to clean yours? And any way to remove the discolorations?

Barkeepers friend works great on my stainless cookware set, so I think it's the best bet for your sink. The can says it works on rust too. It's not pricey so it's worth a tray.

Another vote for barkeeper's friend.:thumbsup2
Works great for those stains that show up on my dishes too.

baking soda will take up rust right off a stainless sink (it will also take the rust rings off a bathtub from shaving cream!). I don't like barkeepers friend because it is a bit too chemically for me.

After you get the sink cleaned, good old fashioned lemon oil will make a SS sink sparkle. That's a trick I learned from some firefighters.

Just sprinkle some on a paper towel and rub on the sink. :)

I use Awesome cleaner from the Dollar Tree. I spray it and leave it sit for a few to 5 minutes then wash it with a scrubbie and some dish soap.

The instructions on my new SS sink said not to use bleach.

Bleach, good old fashion household bleach, works for mine quite nicely!

I agree...every few months I fill both sinks with hot water and add bleach. Allow to set and then drain. They look as good as new.
