Stacking rental car coupons and codes

Ok...anyone out there who can provide some definitive info on this? Can you or can you not stack rental car coupons and codes? Right now I have the best deal for an SUV in June/July with Alamo, as many DISers do, with the Wal-Mart id code and rate code, PLUS and entertainment book coupn worth $25 off. Since we're renting two between the 6 of us, I want to make sure we are able to get the price, or I'll just re-book with one or the other. DH is going to WDW in April for the inline marathon for a 3-day weekend and we used the same Wal-Mart codes, plus a $10 off alamo entertainment coupon to get a good deal for him.

Anyone? Anyone? Anyone do this in the past and have it be ok or not???

Ok I finally remember to post this thread and then I come across this on another travel forum...

The contract ID controls the per day rental price. You can stack the coupons ie. free weekend day coupon plus upgrade and you may interchange the contract IDs to ge the best price at certain airports.

It takes a little patience putting in playing around with the different combinations, but you will save $$ and get upgrades if you spend the time.

Yes, you can stack these with Alamo and National.

Had no problems doing that myself.

Are you saying you can use one coupon for a free weekend day PLUS another coupon for a free upgrade?
