Stacie's Family 5K / 15K WDW Vacation TR (Be warned! LOTS of pics)

Oh, Lord, Cam, I was so far beyond tired by the time I got to the finish line. I was barely able to stand on my own two feet by then, but I was determined to finish. And I was EXTREMELY proud of myself when I did, even though I was at the very back of the pack. It didn't matter at all - I got my medal!

And if you want a slightly different perspective on the race, check out my TR - Stacie insisted I post it on this board! It doesn't have pictures, 'cause she is the one with the digital camera and the ability to upload them (I am so technologically challenged), but you saw all of us already so you don't need them anyway, right? Anyhoo, I was truly dead tired before I even started the race, but I am SUPER glad that I didn't give up and finished it!

Stacie - I'm doing the Race for the Cure on the 14th too. We'll have to have a mini-WISH meet (in 20,000 people - shouldn't be a problem? ) I haven't decided which race I'm going to register for yet though.

I hope to do a few 5Ks in the area. I do plan to do the Susan G Koman 5K on June 14 in Raleigh.

Oh how totally cool!!!!!! I'm doing that one with my DSon(9)! Maybe we WISHers can get together for a quick photo op?!?

Now -- the important stuff: I LOVED the photos!!!!! Don't ever apologize for those. And the carriage ride -- Who knew you could get those?!? And you did great on your race -- I'm so glad you enjoyed it. That is the real "winning" as far as I'm concerned.

I didn't get to hang with the WISHers too much -- seems I was always late for some family event. But I'll be flying solo for the marathon so I hope to see you there -- if not in Raleigh!

Hi Stacie!!! Great report and pics!

Sorry haven't posted to your thread sooner.... It was great walking and chatting with you, don't remember what mile, but now it was the out to WWOS, which was a difficult stretch.

I had so much fun that weekend, and love reading all the trip reports - like being back in Disney - ahhhhh.

I'm thinking mine will be finished closer to marathon weekend!
