Hello and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I'm Cristabel aka disney-inspired

A brief intro:
I've loved Disney all of my life and I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Business at Cal State Fullerton, which is only 15 minutes from Disneyland:goodvibes
I was checking my e-mail this morning and learned that my evening class was canceled. :yay: I had a horrible Tuesday and I knew I needed just one thing to cheer me up; a trip to my happiest place on Earth!

Now onto the trip report:

I arrived in the Mickey & Friend's parking garage a bit before 5:30pm. The structure was so full that they had us parking on the roof. I parked and headed down the escalators.

Now, one major pro of going to DLR solo is being able to usually get on the first tram. I snuck myself past a large family and hopped on just before they headed out.

Security wasn't an issue because I just put my ID, AP and debit card in my lanyard.

As I passed under the railroad one thought immediately came to mind "WOW, lots of green!" Now, if I was here with my family I would have gone with bright yellow or orange. Then we really couldn't get lost! Oh and I couldn't stop smiling but that always happens when I go to the Land.

I headed directly to Tomorrowland. Space has a 35 min stand by line and fp isn't open until 10:25p.m.! No thanks![/URL] Got a fast pass for buzz around 5:50pm for a window opening at 6:35p.m.

I made my way over to Adventureland via Frontierland. Indy had a 50 min stand by line and fp wouldn't available until 10:20p.m. BTMRR had a wait time of 15 minutes but I didn't feel like standing in line so once my fp window opened up I planned on getting a fp for BTMRR.

I had about 35 minutes to kill and while POTC had a exponentially growing line, HM had a very short line, almost a walk-on. :)

HM is a great reprieve from the heat. It's amazing how quicky the temperature rose today but I'm thankful that Anaheim cools down quickly with a lovely breeze. It seems they underestimated crowds at DLR because they have been extending park hours according to a DL cm.

After HM, I walked back over to BTMRR to wait for my next fp window. As I was waiting I thought how my hair never stays nice at DLR and I should have brought my cool diva pirate hat. I wondered where it was... but then I remembered my room was a catatstrophe when I left so I doubt I would have found it at first glance anyway. Lol

As I was waiting around the fp machines for BTMRR I happened upon two fp for autotopia that were for earlier today. Now, I know we tell our friends not to throw away fp but if it weren't for some tourists' ignorance I wouldn't have such an advantage in the park

I got my FP for BTMRR and headed to FL. Probably a ridiculously foolish idea but I'm crazy like that.

As always, Snow white was a walk-on. In the queue, the evil queen's witch laugh reminded me of mama odie from princess and the frog.
I braved and survived the wicked queen yet again!

From FL I made my way back to TL, passing the Matterhorn, Nemo Subs and Autopia.

Autopia lost its appeal a loooooooooong time ago so I knew I was never going to use the two FPs I found. I stood near the entry walk way for autopia and started looking for the right people. I saw a lot of kids acting up, that's for sure. But once I saw a man asking his lil girl if she would wait 20 minutes for autopia and she was very calm and on her best behavior, I knew they were the ones. I gave both tickets to them and told them to have a good time. The man was very polite and thankful. I love spreading some magic of my own :wizard:

I Rode buzz lightyear and as I exited to the store I remembered that my niece's 3rd birthday party theme is going to be Toy Story and she LOVES Buz. So I bought her a baby buzz :cutie:

And with that I made my way out the park and to the tram. Again,I forgot exactly where I parked so you could have found me on the roof of the Mickey and friends parking garage walking around pressing my unlock button trying to find my car by sound :rotfl:

As I was leaving the park, tons of people were arriving! Get when the getting is good is my motto.

I hope you enjoyed this brief trip report. It's probably the first one I completed in a reasonable amount of time.

What a great way to get you back into a happy frame of mind!!!! You can't help but smile from the inside out when in Disneyland!

We do the same thing if we have extra FP's.....we people watch & then give them to the ones we feel will appreciate the gift the most!! :flower3:

 I'd be afraid to park on the roof at the parking garage!!! :scared1: I'm not big on heights......lol

Glad you got to go & get happy again!!!

Sounded like a great trip. Sometimes I wish I lived close enough to go as needed.

Here is my trip report for St. Paddy's Day.

We flew down in the am from the Bay Area. Took the Disneyland Express to Paradise Pier. Decided to check into the hotel and drop our stuff off before heading out to the park since we had no idea when we would get back there. Cut through the Grand Californian and walked through Downtown Disney to get to the main gate.

First thing we had to do of course was get our pictures taken in front of the train station. Next we headed off to get our St. Patrick's Day ears and of course some more pictures.

Since we hadn't eaten at all we had to stop by Carnation Cafe for lunch and to say hi to Oscar. Hello Oscar.

Afterwards it was off to do some rides. First on the agenda, Tiki Room. Then we just keep going through Adventureland with Jungle Cruise, Indy (single rider please), Treehouse, POTC and Haunted Mansion. Then we went to Critter Country to ride Pooh and get pics taken with Pooh Bear, Rabbit and Eeyore.

After Critter Country we decided to head over to Frontierland where BTMM was over an hour wait so we just decided to continue on to Fantasyland for Storybook Canals and It's A Small World. Now we're getting hungry so we need some snacks, nothing hits the spot like pretzels. Decided to go to Pixie Hollow but it was closed so we figured it was time for dinner.

Headed down to Downtown Disney to Tortilla Joe's for dinner where we immediately ordered a pitcher of margarita's. Went back to the hotel to meet up with some friends and went onto the pool deck to watch the fireworks. Started to head back to the park but sidetracked at the Uva Bar for some "Irish Lady's" drinks. Figured out we were pretty tired at this point so we just went to World of Disney before heading back to the hotel for the night and watched the run through of World of Color from our room.
