St Louis to the most magical place on earth...roadtrip! where to stay in between.

We will be driving down possibly since airfare is off the chain. We are a family of 4, DH 47, DS 8, DD 4. What are your suggestions on where to stay for the roadtrip down and back? Where NOT to stay? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!

Hi,

We are from the St Louis area also. Edwardsville is our starting point. We drive through the night. Leaving after work, and driving straight through we arrive before noon. We have also stopped in Macon, GA at a Hampton Inn. Valdosta, GA is a spot to stop also. What time of day are you leaving? How many hours do you want to drive?

We live in the St. Louis area and drove a few years back. We had 6 kids with us....we stopped in Atlanta. We stayed 2 nights there as we had Six Flags season passes so went to the Six Flags in Atlanta on the way. It was a good stopping point for us and was a fun time!

we are neighbors...we are in Glen Carbon! With the size of our littlest one, we are thinking 7-8 hours...throwing around driving all night, but dont want to be wiped the first day?
