Help me decide wise people!
We are going to go around the week of the 5th March next year but can't decide whether to go the monday-friday or whether to go thursday-monday as we thought it'd be quite nice to be around for the St Davids day thing they do(we're all welsh!!) But reading on here weekends are usually busy, but would that be the case in March??
Help me decide before I go and book tomorrow :D

every weekend at DLP is very busy, regardless of the season, unless you are very lucky and get a Classic and Francillien annual pass blackout weekend. You will have to plan your weekend days much more than you would midweek.

We've done several weekend trips and the weekend we had in March 2009 was probably the busiest, my OH said he wouldn't go there on a weekend again and that was the weekend between the St Davids and St Patricks ones.
Then again if you want to see Mickey and Minnie in their Welsh costumes and it's one of the few dates outside summer when you get to have fireworks go for it, just be aware that you will be facing long queues and plan accordingly, the park is open until 10.00pm on the weekends, the Sunday night of the weekend I mentioned above was fantastic, we went back into the park around 5.00pm and everyone else was walking the other way, locals leave after the parade on Sundays if it's a normal school work day on Monday.
:)

The St Davids Day Festival is great fun. The Welsh Craft fair and street market is good plus lots of face painting too. I got a dragon done and DW had a daffodil.

Lost of choirs and performances on the fantasyland stage and in the Village there were some good Welsh Rock bands playing.

The fireworks are lovely too all red, white and green fireworks over the castle.

During the time the festival was on DW and I only did the rides during Extra Magic Hours as we were too busy attending the festival to go on anything.

PS I'm Welsh too, origonaly from Cardiff!
