without the kids! We haven't been to Disneyland, just the two of us, since before we were married - so about 14 years ago. Our anniversary is in October and we rarely do much except for go out for dinner, if that.

The kids and I went to Disneyland a little over a week ago with my mom and sister. DH stayed home because he was working - it was planned that way. I'm returning to Disneyland later this week with a friend because we are also going for a convention (that we are playing hooky from most of :rolleyes1). So, I got an annual pass when I was there with my kids.

I've been trying to figure out how to fit in additional trips to Disneyland without breaking the bank. It's expensive for a family of 6 to go. So, I decided DH and I would probably have a lot of fun by ourselves.

The first night we are there is the Mickey's Trick or Treat Party. Do you think it would be weird if we went to that without the kids?

Oh you will have a great time. I go with my DH all the time and have booked a stay for our anniversary (in Oct, too). He loved the Holiday Haunted Mansion and there is nothin' like refreshing your relationship than taking a trip together. Especially at DLR. Where are you staying? On property?

We will be there (with the kids) in Oct for three days. What day are you going to Mickey's Trick or Trick Party? We are going on the 28th.

I want to go for our anniversary in January. We haven't done anything for our anniversary in the last 3 years since I was either pregnant or nursing a baby! I'd love to stay at GCH and do F! premium viewing.

We are staying off property at the Best Western Park Place Inn. I was trying to keep it really cheap since dh hasn't been working much this year (works construction). I got rates of $87 each night. I have an AP, so I don't need tickets. I just need to purchase the Mickey's Trick or Treat Party Tickets (at the AP discounted rate) and dh's park hopper for Saturday and maybe Sunday (not sure if we will do the parks on Sunday).

We will be there from Oct. 23 (that is the night of the party) through Oct. 25. Now to figure out where we should have dinner on Saturday evening to celebrate our anniversary. Maybe I should make reservations for the F! premium viewing! That would be fun!

We haven't gone away for our anniversary since our 1 year anniversary which was 12 years ago. It just doesn't seem to work out. We made plans to go to Cancun for our 10th anniversary. A few weeks after we made reservations, I found out I was expecting #4 (and final) and would be about 36 weeks at the time we would need to travel. We cancelled.

So, I'm looking forward to an adult only trip for our 13th anniversary!

Sounds like you really desire this vacation, Brenda in CA. Have a great time and savor each moment. I know you will.
