Mom and Andy. Looks like the bathroom area in MGM (then) near the Tower of Terror, but I'm not sure it would have been there then??? Or is that Epcot in Canada/England area??? Did I cover enough guesses with that one.... :rotfl:

1 point for Kathy; 1 point for bathroom area in MGM

one guess at a time Marv! No guessing every theme park!

Kathy and Markie

1 point for Markie. And you tell him, jenb!

I am guessing you were at MGM (DHS) near TOT waiting for Aladdin's Royal Caravan parade to start.

1 point for parade to start

Oh come on, can't I get credit for the correct ones and you just ignore the rest of it???

What about some old lady with either Andy or Markie in a park at Disney??? ;)

Okay, I'll go with my original MGM/DHS answer. That looks just like those restrooms coming from RnR, out in front of where you enter ToT. Not exactly the same surroundings, but I'm sure that has probably changed from so many years ago.......... :goodvibes

ALL POINTS EARNED UP TO THIS POINT TAKEN AWAY for calling me an old lady AND INDICATING SO MANY YEARS AGO! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

MGM across from the hand dipped icecream corner across from ToT.

Mom and Mark?

Sorry those answers already given.

Yay for 30 days!

I can't believe it is coming up so fast.

It does look like the ToT area, not that it helps me replying this late to the party.

Yes, Captain...you are a LITTLE late again.

30 DAYS

:yay::yay::yay::banana::banana::banana::dance3:

Can you believe it Mary? We've been talking about and planning together for so long and it is almost here.

Kathy- I have loved all of your old pictures, but truthfully had no clue where any of them have been.:rotfl2:

Dawn, I thought you had deserted me as I haven't seen you on here for awhile. I'll have to go and see if you updated your PTR yet. But I'm glad you are back here.

Kathy- I've been around just not posting. Meadow is teething again, which means little sleep to be had. I can't really put a complete thought together, if you know what I mean.
Jack started school today, so that might free up some time and I can start actually thinking about our trip beyond the count down on my iphone. I did actually get Meadow's birth certificate today and book our rental car. It's a start.
BTW, it has been actually bugging me that we will be in Disney at the same time and our schedules don't meet up. I might have to figure out a way to change that just so we can say "Hi!"

:sad1: :rotfl2: (think temper tantrum, not laughter)

I will post our "final" itinerary tonight and maybe something will work out (things changed just a tad with Andy coming for part of the trip).

30 days out! :yay: That's coming up so fast.

I love the new bag. :thumbsup2

Kate, I can't believe how close it is. I think these last 30 days might actually fly by with all that we have going on the next four weekends.

I am finally caught up. I can't beleive I was a good 10 pages or more behind! I am LOVING this game, though most of my guesses are wrong...it's stil lreally fun. I might have to steal this idea for a future PTR.

Love that picture. I know where that is because I know where all bathrooms and parade routes are at WDW!

I will add that I have NEVER had a body that good, I mean there you are, mom of two with those thighs? No fair! And you still look awesome and still have small thighs. No idea why I like you but I do.:rotfl:

So what was your dad's favorite restaurant? I try to go to Marie Callendars (one of my mom's faves) for a piece of coconut cream pie now and then. I cry and look like a weirdo but I always feel like she is right there with me.

30 days!!!!:cool1:

i hate this! All my DIS friends are getting ready to leave for their trips!

But I'm SOOO excited for you! My countdown is at 320 days :sad2:

Hang in there. I booked at more than 11 months... and it has gone by so fast. I know I still have more than 100 days..but... I imagine it too will go by fast.

Responses and photo contest picture in a little bit.

But I just had to say:

30 days until Florida!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Well, since the day before yesterday's photo was really hard and yesterday's was an almost giveaway considering the anniversary of my dad's passing, I'll try to make this one somewhere "in the middle" of easy and hard. Good luck:

I know I am late to the game... but I had to say, what an awesome picture of you! And, btw... love the pictures of your dad. How awesome he got to spend sometime with the boys in Disney!

That's what happens when you go to Disney World again! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I stole the idea from Ann (thank you, Ann). :)

You are very kind, but I do not look nearly as good now as I did there (and I was thin there); age really stinks.

My dad went to a place called Village Tavern with my brother almost every Sunday. Even when he had his feeding tube inserted, he would put his Bloody Mary in his tube at the bar and was not shy about it at all. They have a picture of my dad hanging on the wall in the bar.

Thank you, Ann. I wish he could have gone with both boys, but he only went with Andy. Him and my mother did not get alone at all (should have divorced when my brothers and I were little) and I just didn't want to deal with the tension...plus he had trouble walking a lot. So instead we took my mother a couple of more times; I often regret not taking my dad more. But he spent a LOT more time with the boys than my mother did and his grandsons loved him beyond measure (Andy dedicated his last school article for the newspaper to my dad; I'd post it here but it is too hard to read when scanned; I cry every time I read it...and it has a place of honor on my refrigerator.

I'm anxiously waiting to get into the 20's on my countdown calendar!

.

Awe, that is so cool that Andy dedicated the school article to him. To have that kinda of relationship with a grandparent is so cool. I wish my kids had that... I envy those who do. My kids never met my dad since he passed away before any of them were born. :sad1: I just hope that my dh and I can be the sort of grandparents that obviously your dad was and inspire our grand kids (assuming we have them some day... but... no rush.. PLEASE... no rush.. I feel old enough)

I'm with you on that, Ann. I keep teasing the boys that I'm not getting any younger, but they have a few years yet before they have to go down that path. If you win the contest, I'll mail the article with your prize. :)

You may not be getting any younger, but you are one hot MAMA in that photo rewind! :goodvibes What a wonderful tribute to his Granddad! I would love to read it, but would cry the rest of the night, I know...:flower3:

Oh my, I'm sure the paper must be wonderful and touching....I'd love to read it too!

not to highjack your thread, but this is a poem Megan wrote a few months after Jim died...

The Candle That Always Glows

this candle is there all the time it never goes out.
even if the person who lit it is gone, it still glows.
every day, every night it glows and glows and glows.
even when you go it will still glow, big and bright.
light all night, you're the candle that always glows.
never goes out and always is bright.
please always glow for me.

she is bringing this weekend to Camp Erin (grief camp) to share with everyone! always so amazed with her strength!

Lisa, that is absolutely awesome. Tell Megan she did a terrific job; you have every right to be proud of her.

PM me your address if you want me to mail you the column that Andy wrote. And give Megan a hug for me!
