I love the 6am flight for the exact same reason as you...I always sleep and then it's over...love it:rotfl2:

Jasmine did love leaving at noon though to go on their last flight....so we'll see what flights we get in August...it will be whatever airline is cheapest....they are brutal right now from Winnipeg:scared1:

That's what I'm thinking too, Queen. I just can't sleep on those later flights for some reason.

Airfare is crazy and it just keeps going up.

Kathy - that is such awesome news. I think it would be really fun to drive around Florida and see different towns and beaches. Plus you get to see Nicki.

I know you are only there for a week, but do you have time to stop at KSC when you drive from Daytona to Melbourne. It is super cool, if you've never been there. I highly recommend it.

anyway - :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: for a spring trip. Have a blast!!!!

Thanks, Mary Ellen. What is KSC (pardon me if I am having a blonde moment)?

Slowly but surely getting caught up. So glad to read of all your good news! And another florida trip? How fun!

The only good thing about that horrific flight time is that you will probably breeze through security!

Hi, Tanya. I'm glad to see you are getting back to the DIS (I've been away from it myself). It's good to see you. Yes, no Disney, but it's Florida. :)

Very true, Liesa. Although I must say we've never had a long wait with security.

Hi Kathy!!!

And I'm guessing KSC would be Kennedy Space Center.....

Thanks, Marv. What would I do without you?

you ding dong, look how close together the c and f button are on the keyboard

she meant KFC

Dan, you crack me up.

Poor Marv....he gets picked on within his own TR and now on mine. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sunday, April 3 -- Mark has an appointment with a customer at 9 a.m. in Valdosta. This is one of his smaller customers so this won't take a long time...a couple of hours. Then the customer wants to take us to breakfast. From there, we will do one of two things: drive to Ocala and go to Silver Springs which we haven't been to since the kids were small or just drive directly to Daytona Beach where we will spend the night at Perry's Ocean Edge (this is where his parents have stayed for over 40 years) and enjoy the beach and the pool.

This is Perry's:

Ooh, I vote for Silver Springs if you haven't been there in a long time. I've always said I want to stop there but we are on our way to Disney and I can't let anything get in my way.;)

Oooo, that place looks really nice! You're going to have such a great time relaxing in the sun :goodvibes

That resort looks so beautiful! I love an ocean view. Ocala would be nice, too. I don't know, I think if I were that close to Disney I wouldn't be able to resist. :rotfl:

Lisa, I'd like to do it. I don't think we've been there since Markie was 3 -- so almost 20 years ago. It has gotten expensive -- $30 per person (but I do have a buy one adult ticket, get the other free, coupon).

hey nice digs. ocean front.

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Sorry, I promise not to do it again.

Kathy I can't believe you are feeling sorry for Marv the King of PICK!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Marv's been so good lately, I felt bad for him. It was a slip. ;)

It's a beautiful resort. We spent a week there in 2008 for our 25th wedding anniversary after Disney; we had the "spa" suite--I was in heaven.

Kate, it really is beatiful. We've always had an ocean view and are hoping for one this time. I'm okay with not going to Disney...we'd only have a couple of hours anyway and I'll be there in six months.

I forgot to share with all of you. Andy got his dad and I tickets to go see Reba McEntire (my all time favorite) and George Strait last weekend (it was our birthday presents); Andy went with us. It was AWESOME--both are very talented performers. Here are a few photos (ignore the "fat" in mine...I'm on a diet for our trips):

I like them both; I tend to favor Reba just a tad more. George was my dad's absolute favorite performer and his favorite song was "All My Ex's Live in Texas." I was disappointed he hadn't sung it; but then he came out for his encore and it was the first song he sand. And, of course, I started to cry remembering my dad.

Awww....its crazy how we relate music with memories. My favorite George song is Amarillo by Morning. It kills me every time I hear it.
