Oh, (((Kathy))), I am so sorry your brother is ill - how awful. He certainly has done a remarkable job with the weight loss - you must be so proud of him. Then to have this happen - I feel so bad. You know we are all holding him, you & your family, so very near in heart and prayer. Keep us posted when able and please let us know if there is anything we can do.

You know, I understand about the hospital bills - hopefully he has applied for financial assistance through the hospital financial office. It was a God send for me.

Kathy I am sooo sorry for your brother !!! It shows how much everyone deserves health insurance , growing up in England with the National Health system I had no idea what Health insurance was like over here , in New York we do have programs other than medicaid that low income people can get thank goodness !! Your poor Mom having to pay out of her small income !! My heart just bleeds for you all !!

As for the roof I am praying home owners will foot that bill !!

Unfortunately, my brother will need surgery. He will have major surgery tomorrow afternoon. They will remove part of his intestine and possibly part of his bowel. I would be very grateful for all of your prayers.

I was praying and thinking of you and your brother already this morning but now I can pray more specifically that his surgery goes smoothly and he recovers quickly.
