We arrived in Dubuque around 11 a.m., about an hour before Markie had to be at school for the graduates to get in order of seating, etc. Before driving to the school (which is about five minutes from where Markie lives), we took a few pictures:

This is his "sad" picture because he doesn't want to be an adult and responsible...he now likes school.

He will NEVER grow up (he is SO MUCH his dad's kid!)

Oh Kathy, these pictures are wonderful! Your Markie is quite the handsome man, isn't he. You and Mark look so proud! As well you should be too. I really like these two pictures the best:

I'm so glad it was a great day. It must have been those happy-sad tears you were shedding. Congrats again to Markie! Oh, and yes, he's 100% correct, growing up stinks because that means bills! I remember crying after I graduated since I knew that my student loans would be rolling in to my mailbox in about six months!

Glad Cookie is happy and silly and sleeping! Beagles do that same thing and it always crackes me up! We have friends that have a Bichon and she does it with our beagle and its hilarious!

Took me six pages; however, I am all caught up. What an AMAZING weekend you had and how proud you look! Congratulations to Markie for ALL of his hardwork, it isn't easy raising a child to adulthood and Markie is one fortunate young man to have you BOTH as his parents....DEAN's LIST!!!! That IS an accomplishment!! The wonderful relationship you share is evident in the photos!!!

Praying Cookie continues to have good days where she feels like doing the Bichon run! I am going to have to ask Rachel if she knows about that, I am always trying to find new dog facts to stump her...I never can, she is going to grow up to be THE dog guru...LOVE that Cookie is still up and around to water the grass!
