Thanks, Lisa. We are all doing fine. She seems to be sleeping more...but other than that, she is doing okay (she and daddy went and watered the grass seed last night).

No pain, no sickness so far. As a matter of fact, I got home last night and let her out, and she was doing her "bichon buzz." Bichon's do this run around the same area five or six times at full speed. She now slows down after the first three go rounds, but she was full of silliness last night.

I'm really looking forward to it. Mark was always our "less studious" child and we at times wondered whether he'd get ouf middle school and then high school. Then he goes and gets on the Dean's list lasat semester! I'm sure Cookie would love having you here watch her.

I'm taking the day off tomorrow (playing hooky) and cleaning house, laundry and making more cookies for Markie and then we're leaving at 7 a.m. on Saturday to head to Dubuque.

Oh my goodness my brother has a bichon puppy and he did the same running thing when they stayed here. It was so cute and funny to watch. I didn't know that they all did that. I'll have to tell him.

It's heartening to hear that Cookie is still her usual spunky little self. She really is a beautiful dog. I love how curly and fluffy she looks!

And congratulations to your Markie! Graduations are such an important milestone, you and Mark must be thrilled and excited. Enjoy every moment! Oh, and out of total curiosity, what cookies have you been baking for him? Chocolate chip? My favs are snickerdoodles, there's just something about cinnamon, butter and sugar together that is scrumptious!

I'm very proud of him (as is his dad). I just wish they would have stayed little a while longer
