Welcome home! Looks like you had a great trip! I love the pictures of the beach! :cool1:

Kath..Todd is making me nuts...he keeps offering me green tea with his eyes as bigs as moons YUMMMM goooooodddd :rotfl2:

I didnt catch the boy's convo with that crazy loon but Todd told me that she asked Romeo where he was from and when he said Chicago she replied:

Oh you must like Oprah

And Romeo's retort?

NOPE, we hate her :lmao:

I cannot stop laughing thinking of Mark deadpanning that one line to that wacko :rotfl:

I really enjoyed reading about your trip. What a fabulous trip and fantastic visit with Nicky and Todd. And the food pics - thank goodness I saw them AFTER dinner. Before dinner would have been pure torture.

Love all your purchases, especially that cute T shirt.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful trip with us. Welcome Home!

Thanks, Tina. We stayed off US 41 just to be sure no car problems. We don't have a really good hibachi here unless we go downtown which is the last thing I want to do because I work down there. So we really enjoy it in Florida.

I thought the last picture of the four of us was the best of the group.

We talked about you and Karin a couple of times.

Wow! I can only imagine what you were saying. :rotfl2:

Thanks, Pat. No we didn't get to sit in a rocking chair. The airport was an absolute zoo. I guess you had baseball size hail and the airport was experiencing many cancellations from the day before and delays (luckily, we were on time).

Yeah, the crappy weather and baseball sized hail can turn that airport into a zoo. The west side of the airport got hit the worst. :sad2: Sorry you got caught in all that.

I spit out my Starbucks when I read your post. She was certainly a wacko; and neither Mark or I like Oprah and can't wait until she RETIRES from show.

Thank you, MaryEllen. It was a good trip -- work wise and friend wise.

Wow! I can only imagine what you were saying. :rotfl2:

We only said nice things about you and Karin...I promise. :)

It's okay...things happen.

No fair teasing about wacky people then not sharing details. That's why DH and I don't sit at grills anymore. You can usually order the same stuff off the menu and you aren't forced to sit with weird people.

BTW, since you like Japanese steakhouses, have you ever tried beef that's been coated in spicy mustard, then grilled? It's fabu and was the specialty at our local teppan place in Cali.

Welcome home :) Thanks for sharing your trip with us, looks like you had a wonderful relaxing time :)

I love Hibachi dinners, we have a Benihana's not far from us and we love going there :)

Sorry....but I'd be afraid it might be a Diser and I'd be in big trouble. :scared1:
It was the first time I've ever done a meal like that when we didn't have charming and pleasant mates. I'm not a mustard fan, but Mark would probably like that.

Thanks, Stefy. It's good to be home...NOT! But I did miss my puppy dog.
I'm glad you enjoyed the report.

I wanted to! I really did...... :lmao:

I know you did...and that is why I am so shocked. ;)

Welcome home. It sounds like your last day was a great one....gorgeous beach, nice time at the pool, delicious food and wonderful company. Can't get any better than that!

Thanks, Lisa. It was an almost perfect trip. I just wish I was back there...it's so darn cold here.

I saw you started your PTR and I've signed up. :goodvibes

For some reason, I'd really love a coffee right about now. :rotfl:

I love seeing all the Florida pictures. Everything's so beautiful down there. Looks like a great trip!

Darn Starbucks is addicting. ;)

Florida is really beautiful...palm trees, gorgeous flowers, etc.

It was a great trip--thanks.

I have a favor to ask of all of you who have been following my PTR. The couple that lets us use their condo in Marco Island got some very bad news on Monday of last week while they were on a cruise (they had just reached Barbados). Their second oldest son was shot in Afghanistan where he is deployed. He survived, but he will be sent back to the States for further medical attention. Please say a prayer for the family.

What a great update!

How lucky that you guys all found each other....fate is a funny thing isn't it? I love how you can meet people in the funniest ways...it's like it was meant to be:hug:

That food looks delicious!!!
