Im not sure what a PTR is since im new to the site but I noticed we will be there around the same time. Were going 9/24-10/01. Weather should be great unlike this past december when we near froze.

Thank you for joining in. A "PTR" is a pre-trip report. A lot of people do these prior to their trip to introduce themselves to people, indicate where they are staying, what plans are, etc.

AKL is the one resort that I really , REALLY want to check out - well, actually STAY at next time. Such a lovely place. There are so many amazing nooks and crannies to poke around in- golly gee, I'm just a wee bit jealous sitting here. So happy you are doing this one.

And as for your VERY relaxing days ahead... just perfect, kathy!!

I hope you get to stay at BCV next year although it is going to be strange seeing your trip report with pictures other than CSR.

How nice that Mark wants to retire in FL DH keeps saying as soon as he retires we are moving to South Carolina.It's not FL but it is a lot closer than CT so I'll take it. (Only 40 years or so to go)

Thanks, Liesa. AKL is one of only two other resorts I REALLY want to try (the other being the Beach Club) so I am beyond excited. And I love the relaxing part of the whole thing. Good luck with the moving.

I know; I'm thinking the trip report (when it comes to that), will be a LOT of AKL and very little of CSR.

South Carolina would be okay too. I just want to move some place that doesn't have snow or really cold weather like Chicago.

Oh my, I'm at a loss for words regarding Tim's pic. Do I want to know the backstory? Is it a fishing pole or a whip? I can't tell for sure! Oh, it's just so wrong on so many levels! And to top it off, he's wearing a Yankees shirt!
