It's still gloomy here, but the precipitation has stopped for now. We didn't get hit as hard as I anticipated...at least not in my area. Don't know about the rest of my poor little state! Of course, we still have plenty of snow left over from the last 3 storms...

Poor Cookie! My dog loves the snow...she was crying to go out on the porch this morning so I let her out, she grabbed an icicle, and brought it back in the house.

My work phones are ringing off the hook with people trying to get a nice FL vacation....that is good news for me!

Holy cow. That is some snow. I got stuck in WI one year at a conference when they got 13 inches. That is the storm of the century with those drifts. Glad you are clear in the driveway- be careful and stay warm.

Yes, please note that I was NOT wear flip flops--my preferred shoe attire.

If Mark had stepped in one of those drifts we would have lost him for sure. Gee, I should have thought of that yesterday while we were out there.

If either of our airports had been open, we would have been joining you for hibachi. And I really don't need to hear what the temp is thank you very much.

Ours is such a princess. This wind is driving her a little batty now; last night she slipped on the ice. It was quite comical (only because she didn't hurt herself).

Sun most of the late morning/early-mid afternoon which helped a lot. Hopefully you'll get some sunshine today (it's sunny here today again...but just frigid temperatures; it was -4 when I left the house at 6 a.m.).
