Kathy Be safe- candles, flashlights and cookies and maybe and adult beverage or two.

Good thing you don't have to go out- try to enjoy the snow day errr blizzard day- Hoping the power stays on.

Blessthe man who put tires on the car. He obviously thinks highly of Markie and you should be proud of your son.

Thanks, Pat. I'm heading to bed...it's going to be such a long day. :sad2::sad2:

They do adore my son (although I often wonder why :lmao::lmao::lmao:).

:scared1::scared1::scared1: of that snow!!
Stay warm and safe!!

It's horrible. My brother, who works for the Village of a suburb north of us, had to be at work at 11 p.m. tonight...I hope he is safe.

Goodnight all.

It doesn't always snow here, but when it does, we prefer to stay home. Stay toasty, my friends.

They are forecasting 12" -18" tonight here !!Schols have already been cancelled and my Boss called to check I had the Group Home staffed if the Programs are closed !! I had already gone ahead and scheduled a staff to be there, didn't wait to be told to and figured I'd take the HEAT if it was a false alarm well now I am OKAY!!!:rotfl2:

Fingers crossed that you don't lose power! We had your storm earlier today but it just left us with about 10" of snow, nothing like the 2+ feet you guys are probably going to get!

Yikes!! Hoping the power stays on for you and Mark. Sending pixie dust :wizard: (no, that's not snow, it's pixie dust :rotfl:) that everything will be ok in the AM.

Wow those are some crazy pictures, the winter seems like it has been insane everywhere this year! I can't wait til Spring! :cool1:

No work for me today, since we're having an ice storm in CT today...we're supposed to be getting power outages today (which freaks me out) and they're concerned about roof collapses...fun fun fun! The only thing that is seriously keeping me going is the thought of nice, warm Disney in October! :woohoo:

Kathy, hope you survived the night safe and warm and with power!! You too, Rosie!

Whoa! Kathy on the white stuff!! but, it is pretty to people like me who very rarely get to see it. Hope you guys were able to stay warm last night. All of you northerners would laugh your butts off at us southern wusses...I had to bring Ashton to pre-K this morning...OH! MY that wind has a bite to it...we are in the 20's and staying in the 40's all day....we may get some sleet or light snow dusting (doubt it) tomorrow evening. I can't wait for spring; but, hope it sticks around longer this year. Come summer and I'll be wanting to visit all of you guys...

Have a great day! :sunny:

Hey, Kathy...just sending some :goodvibes and hoping that you survived the night with your power intact. The ice storm here doesn't look so horrible, but then again... I haven't gone outside, either, so who knows? :confused3

Night Kathy! Stay warm! :goodvibes

Thanks, Tim. I actually slept very well.

Thank you; it's been a long time since we got this amount of snow.

Rosie, you guys certainly don't need any more snow...you've had enough.

Fingers crossed that you don't lose power! We had your storm earlier today but it just left us with about 10" of snow, nothing like the 2+ feet you guys are probably going to get!

Thw power stayed on all night, thankfully. I thought the howling winds would keep me up, but I slept right through it (not sure if that is a good or bad thing).

Yikes!! Hoping the power stays on for you and Mark. Sending pixie dust :wizard: (no, that's not snow, it's pixie dust :rotfl:) that everything will be ok in the AM.

Thanks, friend, for hte pixie dust.

Kathy, stay safe and warm... those pics are crazy!

It has gotten crazier with the drifts.

Glad they gave you the day off with the ice storm; that is too dangerous to be driving in. Not sure if I'll be going to work tomorrow yet.

Kathy, hope you survived the night safe and warm and with power!! You too, Rosie!

We survived and stayed warm. Thanks.

I hope the ice isn't too bad. Be safe.

Pictures coming up.

Okay, as promised smileycrissy, here are some photos from this morning. We still have a LOT of snow to get off the driveway. I don't know when we'll be able to get to the street...there are five food drifts out there and it is still going to snow until 3 p.m. and the winds are still very strong:

Wow, that snow looks awful. I feel sorry for your dog. Does he like the snow?

She (Cookie) hates snow and rain...she is such a princess. Here's a picture of her (I didn't post one at the beginning of my PTR like I did my TR from our last trip).

She is NOT a happy camper today at all.

Aw, thanks for sharing the pics!!! It looks beautiful out there but I really do feel for you considering all the shoveling and such. Poor Cookie. Does she have snow booties and a coat to wear for this weather?

Look at your cute selves in the snow!!Poor Cookie-that snow is way taller than she is!! Poor baby!!

I am just speechless...and you know that is very rare for me to be quiet ;)

Poor, Cookie, I bet she is not happy. I would not be happy either if I had to use the potty out in that cold ;)

Looks lika a lot of hard work; hope Mark is taking it easy and not working his back and neck too hard.

You guys have a great day playing in the snow! stay warm!!!!

She has a sweater, but it is more work putting it on her--she doesn't like it.

The snow is as tall as my husband in spots (and he's NOT that tall). :rotfl::rotfl:

I don't think I've ever known you to be speechless. :rolleyes1

Thanks, Connie. Andy and I did a lot of it; Mark is out there now with his son with the snowblower since we got hte drifts down. I'm posting some pictures soon of the plow truck from one of our neighbors trying to clear the "edges" of the street so people can get out AFTER they get their driveways done.

Andy started a snowball fight with me...we had fun.
