I have a neat story to share with you.
Markie's team that he is coaching in Dubuque had their Conference Championship this weekend in Cedar Rapids, IA (it's about a 90 minute drive from Dubuque). One of the school vans was being used for another sport (excuse me, it's wrestling season...there is NO other sport), so Markie had to take his car (my car) and drive some of the kids. He got a flat tire about a half mile away and pulled off the road. One of the dad's was following behind and helped to change the tire to the spare tire. The spare also had a small leak, but they were able to get to the school where they were wrestling.
The dad told Markie to give him the keys and he'd go get the tire fixed while the kids were weighing in, waiting for brackets to be done and working out to get ready for the competition. So the dad takes the car, gets the tire fixed and starts driving back to the high school where the wrestlers are. Believe it or not, the tire goes low again. He turns around and drives back to the shop and says the tire is going out again. The guy at the store says, "let's look at it again." The dad says, "forget it; just put four new tires on the truck."
Can you believe it? He bought four brand new tires for MY car (which my son is currently keeping from me). Markie tried to pay him something and he wouldn't take it. These people take REALLY good care of my son.
