I am voting late, but I am voting non the less! :lmao: (That time change thing got me behind again - or is it ahead? :confused3 :rotfl2:)

So here are the votes of the Austrian jury:
Vote 1 - Le Cellier for lunch (always a favourite)
Vote 2 - Grand Floridian Cafe (a hidden gem)

Can't wait to find out what you decide on ......... looks like a sure bet for Le Cellier though! ;)

First, for Connie, Mary and Tim:

Packages were sent to Ashton, Cayley, Avery and Ana today for Valentine's Day (just wanted you to be on the lookout)
Awww... thanks! I'll be on the lookout!

This leaves us 2 table service credits each. We are down to these choices:

LeCellier (lunch)

Liberty Tree Tavern (late lunch--Mark's request if we can't decide on anything else; I won't do dinner, don't care for "Thanksgiving" meal)

Coral Reef (lunch or dinner)

Captain's Grille (dinner)

Grand Floridian Cafe (late lunch or dinner)

Mark was not impressed with Ohana menu so that is off the list. Also, Nicki, Mark did not like the Wave menu.

So, I'd appreciate if you would all vote for two to help me out here.

Thanks, DIS friends.
I'm thinking Le Cellier and either GFC or Coral Reef-which ever one fits your touring schedule the best. :goodvibes

Plus please take pictures of Mark as he walks into the Grand Floridian! :lmao::lmao:

I have SO MUCH catching up to do, but looks like in time to vote!!:yay:

Looks like I'm in line with Nicki, Karin and Tim (no doubt I missed someone;)):

LeCellier
Grand Floridian Cafe (we've had some iffy service here over the years, but the food has always been yummy). ::yes::

Off to try to catch up! :dance3:

Up to page 11, but have to comment before I forget!!

A very belated but just as Happy Birthday Wishes to Mark! (don't know how I missed his birthday.:confused3).

I am SO EXCITED that you are not only staying at AKV, but on points and a great savings!:woohoo: I think it's a fabulous idea to keep those 2 days for the resort etc - have probably said this before, but was not keen on staying at AKL. At check in when she told us of our upgrade to a Savannah view we asked if we could have a pool view instead!!:scared1: The CM convinced us to try the Sav view and promised a great room location. Once we saw the view, it was difficult to get me off the balcony to do anything else! It was amazing. Even though I love a balcony, I get board in about 5 mins...not with that view -could have watched the animals for hours. And you get to spend time with Mary and the girls!!:yay: ENJOY!!

It is amazing to see Markie as a coach - he looks GREAT!!! Though I'll admit to missing the pics of him wrestling, it will be fun to see him coaching. Those parents must be dancing in their sleep to have lucked out with Markie on-board. :thumbsup2

MNSCHP with Mary's girls? I am officially jealous!!:goodvibes

Oh, Mary - which 5k is this? I very much want to do a 5k this yr, but fear late Sept in WDW will be too hot. Sept has always felt hotter and more humid than August to us.

...back to reading....:surfweb:

Your plans and current ADRs look really great! Lots of relaxing and fun mixed in on the trip. :thumbsup2 I like how you have it to start in one park, take a break and then go for EMH. I'm wondering if Henry will be able to start doing PM EMH, we've never really taken advantage of them because of him....hmmmm.....

I haven't done most of these, so I'm not much help - but LeCellier always gets such good reviews and their lunch sounds delicious, and we had the GFC on our list for this trip, but it got canceled--so I vote for that because I want to eat there.

I vote for Le Cellier and as a back up Liberty Tree Tavern (they have the yummiest food and I recommend the Pilgrims Feast :teeth: )

Well, since you were nice enough to send me a hug I guess I will vote! :rotfl:

My personal choices would be for Coral Reef and LTT, but purely because that is two restaurants we haven't tried yet that are on our list for the future! However, I know how much you like the Chocolate Whiskey Cake, so if you can get the lunchtime ADR at LeCellier, I'm sure you guys would love that one. If you've done LTT before, drop it for Le Cellier! I hear it's a decent place to catch a quick meal...... ;)

Hey girl!!
I would definitely choose Le Cellier and GF Cafe...I agree an undiscovered gem to most....but not us....we love it there!!!

Hope all is well!! I haven't read your entire PTR but tonight Jasmine is going to Jeff's so I'm planning an evening with a cup of tea and the Dis!!!

/
mmm ohana pot stickers, could be a meal on its own...
how is she not impressed with it.
:sad2:

as for the other restraunts, i dont recal eating at any of them so no help from me.
:confused3

I probably won't be much help with selecting two restaurants since I've only eaten at two of them- Le Cellier and Liberty Tree, both of which I thought were great. I've always had high hopes for the Captain's Grill, mostly because we are all seafood lovers- all except Landon, who has never had any seafood due to babyhood. In fact, one of Carter's favorite foods is mussels.

Anyway, I've always heard that Coral Reef doesn't have very good food, but I've always thought it would be fun to eat there, anyway. Sadly, Grand Floridian Cafe is completely undiscovered by us. We peeked in the windows last May, but it didn't seem very toddler or baby friendly, so we went to Gasparilla Grill, with lots of noisy kids and casually dressed parents.

Judy felt that way when we went to 1900 !!She said "Mom we don't belong here" This was while we sat waiting for our table and she saw all the VERY dressed up people strolling around and we were in our Park Attire !!:lmao:

Kathy, it looks like Le Cellier is getting the majority vote. It seems like you really only had to poll for the one remaining spot. :) I'd say go for LC since you know you love it.

I haven't eaten at the other locations you mentioned but I did look at their menu's. I'd vote for the GF Cafe. It looks pretty and the menu looks tasty. Those are two important things to consider. :rotfl:

I keep forgetting to check in here. Sorry about that. Anyway, looking over the dining choices, I'd vote for Le Cellier (try and act surprised) and Liberty Tree Tavern. My parents liked the Grand Floridian Cafe, but I haven't tried it, so I can't vouch for it yet.

I'd vote for Captain's Grille and...after that it's a toss up between Grand Floridian Cafe and LeCellier. Bear in mind I've never been to LeC to (or the others) but it just always sounds too heavy, to me, for lunch.

I vote for Le Cellier and Grand Floridian Cafe

But whatever you choose I hope you love it!

So noted; it looks as if LeCellier & GF Cafe have the lead thus far. But watch after all my reponses to see what has since developed.

You and Nicki hooking up and comparing notes before you respond? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Thanks for the votes, Karin.

That is the hardest part of picking GFC -- Mark actually walking into the resort. :scared1::scared1:

Can't wait to see Cayley and Avery.

Markie is loving his life righ tnow.

Yep...party with the urchins. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Thanks, Brook. I think if you let Henry take a long afternoon nap, you could get him to handle EMH. I'd give it a try.

I vote for Le Cellier and as a back up Liberty Tree Tavern (they have the yummiest food and I recommend the Pilgrims Feast :teeth: )

See, I don't like "Thanksgiving" food, so not sure I'd want Liberty Tree (although I really liked the pannini I had there several yaers ago).

Well, since you were nice enough to send me a hug I guess I will vote! :rotfl:

We were supposed to do Coral Reef last year and cancelled so why it went back on my list for this year.

Another vote for LC and GF Cafe! Decisions, decisions. Hope Jasmine and Jeff had a good time.

My vote is Capt's Grill the menu looks good !!!

See, I like the looks of the menu too. :goodvibes

mmm ohana pot stickers, could be a meal on its own...
how is she not impressed with it.
:sad2:

:confused3
See, we can get pot stickers at PF Changs, and Mark (nor I) are big vegetable/noodle eaters. :confused3

That is awesome that Carter loves mussels. I think any Disney restaurant is "toddler/baby friendly" except Victoria Albert's. I just don't know if GF is "Mark" friendly. :lmao::lmao::lmao:
