Your plans for the last couple of days sound nice and relaxing....well, except for the doing laundry part.

You know that we hate that last day when you know it's time to go but you don't wanna. Departure days are the pits! :sad1:

I love the wedding picture! That's such a cute shot of them all.

Great wedding photo! Cookie is so cute! Love the ideas for passing the time on your PTR for the next two months!

Please tell me that you're joking...SERIOUSLY??? I mean, granted, if I had to choose, I'd rather go to a pool to really swim any day, but the beach... oh wow. I'm just stunned, Nicki. :rotfl2:

Nope I am dead serious! I prefer the pool, less mess! I show condos on the beach all the time and I love the view but I just dont like the sand.

Nicki, I'm pretty much the same...like the view of the beach/ocean, but give me a pool for swimming. :thumbsup2 I do like to stroll along the shore though.

Kathy, sorry I've not been around much...Jackie is not doing well this week...today we thought might be her last day, but she perked up. Tomorrow we are going for a consultation with a holistic Vet - even if just to learn how to keep her last days as comfortable as possible.

How is Cookie doing? We send love and kisses to her.:grouphug:

OT
Queen, it is good to see you. Still sending
Christine Sorry to hear about ur furbaby.

Kathy Cute wedding pic. We need a pic of Andy now so I can show the girls. Can't wait to take a "look back" at previous trips

Christine so sorry about Jackie !! We were so lucky that Misty is back!!She appears totally no worse for her 4 day adventure !! She hasn't gone near an outside door since and we are hoping she stays that way!!

Last days are so sad !!! I am moving along well with my ptr !! Hopefully I will finish it during the week and can have enough time to do something similar to what you are gonna do !!

I hate last days. :sad1:

Aww, love that pic of you and Cookie :) Looking forward to your Must Do's and past pics :)

Don't know if I could jump in my dress, just realised that its seven layers (but light), not sure if its light enough to jump in

That might be a little hard for you to make that kind of jump. :)

Last days are sad....we still cry everytime we board ME back to MCO! The only thing that I keep thinking is at least I get to plan another trip now!

Queen, you are right. We always have the next trip to plan. :goodvibes

Boo to going home :sad1: but yay for seeing your sweet puppy again :yay:

I like your idea of posting 'where are we now' pictures - sounds like fun!

I'm so happy that puppy is still doing well and it will be good to get home and see her.

I do love a wedding picture...

I thought so too, Kelly.

Lisa, when I saw the wedding picture, I immediately thought of Lacey. ;)

Thanks, Jen.

Christine, sorry to hear about Jackie.

Cookie is doing really well. She's "depressed" right now because Mark has been gone since Friday, but she'll perk up tomorrow night when he gets home.

I love that wedding pic; they didn't do anything like that when Mark and I got married. :confused3

Your wish is my command--for Cayley and Avery.

This is Andy and his new girlfriend at the Bean at Milennium Park in Downtown Chicago:

great now i need to go visit the bean, thanks for reminding me i havent been there this year yet.

Even thinking about the last day of a trip makes me sad.

Cute pic of Andy and new gf! I need to know... what is 'the bean?' I've not been to Chicago and it's extremely interesting... indulge a small town gal from OK. :goodvibes

Here is a description of the bean:

"Cloud Gate, a public sculpture by Indian-born British artist Anish Kapoor, is the centerpiece of the AT&T Plaza in Millennium Park within the Loop community area of Chicago, Illinois, United States. The sculpture and AT&T Plaza are located on top of Park Grill, between the Chase Promenade and McCormick Tribune Plaza & Ice Rink. Constructed between 2004 and 2006, the sculpture is nicknamed "The Bean" because of its bean-like shape. Made up of 168 stainless steel plates welded together, its highly polished exterior has no visible seams. It is 33 by 66 by 42 feetTemplate:Convert/test/Adef (10Template:Convert/test/Adef by 20Template:Convert/test/Adef by 13 m), and weighs 110 short tons (100 t; 98 long tons)."

Thanks for the pic!!! Good looking couple. Love that Cookie girl!

Thanks, Mary.

For those of you who have been reading along and have seen "that's nice"'s comments but do not follow his TR's, I wanted to let you know that his wife, Mel, had a baby boy this evening. Christopher Michael, 7 lbs. 3 oz., joins big sister Juliana. They are very good friends of ours who we met on the DIS and we could not be happier for them. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

isn't it wonderful he is finally here! I don't think there's been a baby who has had so many people awaiting his arrival!

I received an email today from the boss of a good friend who asked how many nights we would be at the AKL and then the CSR. Turns out that he has points that are going to expire at the end of September and he wanted to know if we wanted to add nights at the AKL. We would have to go to a studio for two nights because he only has enough for a studio.

Then I called Nicki and asked her what I should do. She suggests we see if there is availabilty to use the points and then book a room only and spend our whole trip there. She also suggested we see what the dining plan would cost as opposed to paying out of pocket since we can't use free dining at DVC and if we move to the CSR we miss free dining. She also said to just buy our tickets through Triple A; however, we are not Triple A members so we'd have to buy the tickets.

What do you all think? I don't know if I can NOT stay at CSR, but I also love the idea of staying at AKL for aweek.

wow what a nice gift! I would probably run all the numbers to see what works out better with the dining, etc. then decide....CSR will always be there, but the opportunity to have extra time at AKL might not come again.
