SSR Treehouse villa & where? - split stay question

We haven't even gone on our trip this year and have already decided that we'll be going back for DH's 40th b-day. MIL wants to stay at the Treehouse villas at Saratoga Springs next time. I love the look of them but hate the vastness of the property. So I'm thinking we'll do another split stay (provided this one works out well). I'm thinking we'll rent a car for the SSR part but I don't want one the whole time. We'll be a family of 5 going (3 adults and 2 kids) and we'll want to stay somewhere we haven't been before. Since it's a b-day trip we're willing to go deluxe. Any suggestions?

We've been to ASSports and will be staying at PORiverside and AoA-Lion King next time.
