We will be staying at Saratoga Springs resort, going to Epcot on our check out day (it's our only park day). We want to ride the Skyliner. Would you leave the car at SSR, bus to Studios and take the Skyliner to Epcot, or drive to Studios and take the Skyliner to Epcot? I haven't been to WDW since the Skyliner was installed so don't know what the hike from the parking lot OR the bus drop off to the Skyliner entrance is like. We could ride the SKyliner earlier in the week, just for the experience, but we like entering Epcot through the International Gateway so taking the Skyliner seems like a good idea.

In my opinion, you'll be better off riding a bus to HS and taking skyliner over to Epcot.

Here's a view from above. I marked bus drop off, skyliner and car parking lot. The walk from bus to skyliner is short while the parking lot will definitely be further, unless you pay for premium.

If you have the time earlier in the week, take the bus from Saratoga to DHS and ride the Skyliner around from there. The bus stop and Skyliner station are right next to each other. You don't need a theme park ticket ride the Skyliner or any Disney transport.

Last month we took the bus from Disney Springs to Riveria to check out the new resort and then took the Skyliner to the Boardwalk, where we ate dinner. We then took the bus from the Boardwalk to Disney Springs on the way back to save time.

I would leave your car at SSR for your park day. You can park your car near a bus stop at SSR.

You could also leave or arrive at Epcot via the International gateway via the Skyliner. The Skyliner stop is right outside the International Gateway. You would be using the Studios as your bus transform site for SSR.

Epcot opens in the late morning, so riding around in the Skyliner before would be fun depending on when you get up, but I would want to do that fun activity on a nonpark day if possible.
