SSR to OKW

I want to take a look at OKW during our next stay. Could someone tell me approximately how long it will take to get there using Disney transportation?

The best way might be to catch the DTD ferry, on its way back from DTD to OKW. It makes a stop at the SSR dock. From there its less than a 10 min boat ride.

you can walk over in around 20 minutes - but it places you at the back of OKW...

the boat is better it places you at the front of OKW.

I didn't realize the resorts share the boats. At least we won't have to switch. I'm going to make an ADR at Olivia's too. Thank you.

Yes, OKW no longer has there own boats that were operated by the resort and paid for by the members. The 2 DVC resorts now have boats that are not owned by the members, thus the sharing of boats.

I am pretty sure our maintence fees still go to the boats.... Since there was an increase (a big increase) in OKW maintence....

the DD merchandise pay for the PO one. Which can stop if the economy goes down again.

but since members pay for the OKW/SSR - it won't stop working no matter what.

There are usually two boats on the route. The route is: OKW-SSR-Westside-Marketplace then the return is: Marketplace-SSR-OKW. Just ask the boat operator if they are heading to OKW or DtD.

The boats to POR and POFQ don't stop at SSR, only the boat shared by SSR and OKW does.

At DD there are different lines. Just read the signs and get into the line for the SSR-OKW boat.
