SSR - Section Recommendation?

DW and I are flying down to WDW on Sunday and staying at SSR for three nights. I want to make sure we are close as we can to the check in area. From looking at the map it would appear The Springs would be the best area to request but I thought maybe I should check here just to make sure. Thanks.

YES, THE SPRINGS AREA IS THE CLOSEST TO CHECK IN. HAVE A GREAT TIME!

like Grandstand better - it is almost as close and has it own pool and pool bar

then springs

if you want to walk to DTD include Congress Park

I also prefer the Grandstand to the springs and was in room 8241. It was about a five minute walk to the main area.

Pool was right out side entrance. Pool bar with refill station was RARELy open except for a few evening hours.

DTD path from Grandstand/Springs is great too! You just end up on West side instead of Marketplace.

I have to agree with the Grandstand section. We love it. It is also the first bus stop if that matters to anyone.

Another Grandstand fan here. We just returned from a trip on 5/4. This was our second time at the Grandstand. We love it there.
