The "feel" can actually be quite different depending on which section you are in.
Grandstand: First bus stop, has it's own small themed pool and pool/snack bar, golf course views, can be short walk to main area.
Carousel: Farthest away from everything but closest to resort exit so can be a plus if you have a car, second bus stop, closest quiet pool is the Paddocks.
Paddocks: Third bus stop, backs to the resort's lake/pond and walking trail. Has it's own quiet pool.
Congress Park: Fouth bus stop, views over the lake to Downtown Disney. Similiar to Grandstand for walking distance to main area and can easily walk to DTD. Has it's own quiet pool
Springs: Last bus stop, but closest to main area. I don't think these have as great of views out of the rooms as the other areas??? (Have not stayed here).
Our first choice is the Grandstand next to the pool or bus stop. Second choice is Congress park for the DTD views.
If you want to be close to the main pool and spa, then consider The Springs section. If you are able bodied and don't mind a nice walk, The views of DTD from Congress Park can't be beat. Enjoy your "grown-up" time!
and I dream of the night my DH and I stay there for a pool and spa day. We are about 15 yrs till our last will be in college. So my room advice is that any room will be a great time. Let us know how wonderful the spa is!!!!
