SSR Renovations.

Are they continuing to refurbish the Resort? I think I may have read some where on these boards that it is continuing.

I have a few nights booked on a spilt stay in November and could only get a Standard 1bedroom. Last time I stayed there, we stayed at Congress Park, but I don’t think it was designated as Preferred.

Would love to have a renovated villas. Thanks.

Congress Park and the Springs are preferred view. They are working again. I think done with CP and working in Springs. May get to standard view by Nov but very little completed. If you want renovated room you need preferred view...IMO.

It’s impossible to guess. They could be done with a building in a month or so, or all 3 in a couple months. Pre COVID they were working on just one building at a time. Now they have 3 to work on, since demand is low. It’s possible they can do more in less time, but who knows. I wouldn’t expect any standard rooms to be done by November.

I read that currently Paddock and Congress Park are the 2 areas open. They are renovating in Springs and not using Carousel and Grandstand.

If I switch our three bedroom to Preferred view, do I have a good chance of facing DTD and getting a refurb room?

We are going in November with two other couples with our focus on DTD for eating and drinking.
