SSR & OKW

We now own at both resorts.

We are planning to go down with our friends beginning Dec 2022. I plan on booking one room at each resort at the 11 month window. 1 bedroom at SSR and a 2 bedroom at OKW.

I know a lot of people book OUT of SSR and OKW at 7 months, but I was wondering how difficult it is going to be to book IN. We are perfectly fine with either resort, so if there's one that may be easier, happy to move there.

What do you all think? Should I have any difficulty moving one of the rooms to the other resort at 7 months?

Typically, due to their size, OKW and SSR are often available to book at 7 months, depending on the time of year. If you're early December, I'd expect you would be able to find availability at one or both. I think the possibility of both being unavailable would be extremely low - but you never know!

The Pandemic caused a lot of available points for the next few years.

Fall Frenzy is pretty crazy historically.

My guess would be that you could get 2 spots at SSR-Preferred (and maybe it will be easier than I think to get OKW for both at 7 months) but definitely have both rooms booked at the 11 month window and see where things are at 7 months. I would have to think riding the waitlist to switch would work out regardless, given the size of the resorts...

Wondering the exact same. We are currently on a wait for OKW with Dave’s but maybe I’ll add SSR to the wait as well. We are 9 months out so hopefully they will be able to find the points. Fingers crossed

Good to know. I only worry since the main pool is closed while we are planning to the there
