SSR Noise Issue and the Bridge

I just returned from a stay at OKW, and on our last night there we rode the ferry from OKW to DTD and back. I noticed that in the ferry we did not hear any noise from DTD as we approached, and the ferry was closer to DTD than SSR will be. Hopefully this will alleviate some concerns about the noise.

Also, a bit of disappointing news, when I went and looked at the models one more time, the CM that took us around said that they have scrapped the plans to build a bridge from SSR to DTD. I was disappointed to hear that, but I know many were concerned about the "security" issue. This CM is not a Guide, but one of the tour people, so not sure if this information was correct or not.

The more I see the models, the more I like SSR. I think I mentioned before, but my Guide also told me that ALL amenities will be open when the first building opens, such as food service, pool, etc.

Thanks for the info. The bridge to DTD would be nice.

Perhaps you're right and this person doesn't really know ---- like the person at the DVC kiosk who repeatedly assured me there were W/D's in the studios.
