SSR July 1-6

We're a party of 7 adults checking in to a 2 BR on Saturday. I'm not making any room requests but what are the preferred areas? We might use a pool and will be in the parks 4 days. We have a vehicle. Any recommendations driving vs. Disney bus to/from the parks?

The Preferred booking category consists of the Springs & Congress Park sections. The Standard booking category is Grandstand, Paddock & Carousel.

The first time we stayed at SSR, we stayed in Congress Park which was lovely, close to Disney Springs, and had a nice quiet pool. We have since discovered Grandstand which I like for its not-so-quiet pool, the fact that it's the first bus stop, and its proximity to the main building where the food is located!

We always use Disney Transportation. We usually have a car, but I enjoy leaving the driving and navigating the WDW roads to Disney.

We stayed in Congress Park our first and only visit, so far, to SSR. We loved the proximity to Disney Springs. We did request CP. My sons are older so they loved hoping over to DS in the evening or on non park days.
We enjoyed the pool there.
