SSR - how has it changed in the last 2 years?

We just planned a super last minute trip and could only get SSR. No problem. we stayed there right after it opened two years ago and it was a nice place. (BCV is always our first choice though.)

Anyone know how it has changed in the last 2 years? I know some more buildings are open. Any new pools open? Restaurant? I haven't really paid attention to the SSR news lately.

Lots of changes in the last 2 years.

More poolside chairs, tables and umbrellas. Donalds back! Sidewalk sprinklers added to the pool area.

The Paddocks opened and is connected by a loong bridge. The Paddocks has a quiet pool and playground.

The Turf Club serves lunch and Dinner and has an expansive drink menu. Artist Palette added chicken strips and nuggets and Saratoga Chips.

The weekly Member Update has moved from the Theater to the Performance hall.

Carriage Rides have been added daily.

The model units moved from Congress Park to The Springs, right behind the main bus stop.

The back gate by Congress Park can be used to enter and exit with room key. No Welcome Home though

There is a floral class offered weekly by WDW Florist in the Community Hall.

Construction of Phase III is occurring on the Treehouse Villa side of the resort.

I can't think of any others

Actually, the biggest change was that two years ago, it wasn't open yet!
