Hey cool! Is that for the whole year or only during January timeframe? We are headed down in April 09 & for our arrival day that would be cool since we don't plan on doing the park thing until the following day- and even then for this first trip we definitely want some quality resort time! Thx foranymore info- BTW, where can I find that info?

That schedule looks just like the one we had in August. Community Hall posts the daily schedule on the chalkboard too, and sometimes lists the specific evening craft (many were free). A few that we did in August were beaded keychains and a cool beaded necklace ticket holder.

Wow - I didn't realise there would be so much stuff to do at SSR! :thumbsup2 I'll have to check out the schedule when we go "home" for the first time next April. :goodvibes

Where can we find a schedule for the duration of our stay? Will they provide us with information about the available activities when we check-in?

The schedules change weekly, I think, but of course many items would stay generally the same. They will give you the sheet of activities when you check in.

I give a big thumbs up to SSR Community Hall - we didn't have much time to spend there, but my kids loved it. DD made a jump rope for a small fee ($6 for DVC members, I think, $7 if you weren't), and DS enjoyed some down time with his Nintendo DS and the Disney Channel. DH and I walked up to Artists Palette and had a nice breakfast alone! DD also colored a few pictures and DH and DS played a quick game of foosball. Next time we stay there, I'm planning a whole stay at the resort day. Between Community Hall, the pool, the arcade, oh did I mention the spa?, there is a ton to do there!

during the activities with lifeguards over memorial day weekend, the kids played musical towels (washcloths), hula hoops, and a water balloon toss
