SSR-3 adults, no car, best place to be

We are 3 "girls"-40 ish who will be going to SSR. We will not have a car. One friend likes activities like tennis, golf and Basketball(do they have). We would like to be near pools and food area. and plan to walk to DTD or use buses.

So what is a good location?

Springs.

but if you plan on during PI - I might pick Congress.

I little to far to walk back from it to Springs.

but Congress works just great.

We were in the furthers building in Congress Park. We could be at DTD in about 4 minutes. It was about a 7-10 minute walk to the main area (food and pool). We loved CP because of the quiet pool. It's really big and was always deserted. It also has a hot tub.

I agree go for last building in congress park and walk to DTD for PI everynight

We were in the DREADED Paddocks in December. Took 10 minutes to WALK all the way to DTD. Had to WALK nearly 200 ft. to the bus stop. Could barely even see the pool from our balcony. It was TERRIBLE!
Going back in 3 weeks! Can't wait to ride EE, even if we HAVE to stay in the WORST location, wherever that is.
(So far we've been very lucky - EVERY location at WDW has been great!!!!!!!)

The Springs is our favorite location. It's closest to the main pool, restaurant, shop area, tennis courts, shuffleboard court, Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, the exercise room and the spa. I think there's a basketball court, but I'm not positive. It's close to the walking path that leads to the Westside, a little bit further than Congress Park for the Marketplace walking path.

I didn't realize there wer 2 different "path" options -to the West Side and to MarketPlace.
I get the point owtrbanks! I feel that way too. Whenever I go w/ DH and kids my request is usually just"no smoking" not far from a pool.

This time I'm bringing friends and of course I want my guests to be comfortable, but as you said anywhere, as I long as I am there is a good place!
