SSR 2 BR Villas question..

Are all 2 BR units at SSR dedicated or are they lock-offs comprised of a 1BR and a studio like at OKW. I have a 2BR booked at SSR for the second week in Dec, and I'm hoping its not a lock-off. TIA

Usually the type of room will be listed on your confirmation and on the member website.

SSR and OKW both have the 2-br dedicated and 2-br lock-off units.

At SSR, I believe it is 24 2-br lock-off and 20 2-br dedicated per building. (And 2 GV's).
With the 2-br lock-off units, you have a better chance of being on one of the ends of the building with 12 of the 24 on one end or the other. With the 2-br dedicated, you have a better chance of not being on the end, with only 4 of the 20 being on the end.

In the resorts that have both, the confirmation should say what it is.

We are booked in Oct for a 2 bedroom at SSR. My confirmation does say dedicated. I called MS and told them I didn't need one and they could have it if someone else needed it. We have all adults going and they are welcome to come/go as they want.
I didn't know SSR had dedicated. We have always stayed at BWV (home resort) in a 2 bedroom and they are all lock offs there.
MS said she put a note on the reservation that we didn't require a dedicated. Until this thread, I didn't know there were that many dedicated in a building.
