We're renting a Studio in Saratoga Springs next month.... it's our first time staying at a DVC property.

Am wondering if there are any cereal bowls, spoons, etc. in the studio kitchen area. I know the larger villas are fully stocked, but can't seem to find out if the Studios have any utensils, etc.

Also, do I need to pack shampoo/bath soap?

Yes there are paper plates and bowls and plastic utensils. (we are taking our first trip in 3 weeks ) There are some videos on You Tube and yes, I believe the shampoo is provided.

You'll get a small bottle of shampoo, shower gel and a bar of soap every four days. You may want to bring your own if you don't think it will be enough.

You do get shampoo and soap. It does not have a full kitchen. It has a small refrigerator, sink\countertop and microwave. We are leaving Thursday; we will be staying in a studio at SSR for 1 night, then All-Star Movie the rest of the time.

The plates and bowls you get are paper and you only get a few of them. We always pack a few disposable plastic plates and bowls because they are washable and reusable. We use them all week and then toss them.

You also get a toaster, coffeemaker, coffee mugs, and a can opener. All the comforts of "home"!
