I know there was some confusion about how Zooba works. I can tell you with certainty now after speaking to them this morning that the following are true:
1. You cannot just "buy" 3 books when you first sign up. You will be charged for the 3 books plus the 9.95 enrollment which you will have to use to purchase another book. The way around this is to add a book to your reading list for them to send. This will be your monthly book, then add the other 2 books as buy now.

2. The commitment is for 3 books not 3 months. Once you do the above you can call and cancel the account and receive the 3 books for 9.95 each and not have anymore commitments to them. I just called the number and cancelled because I wanted to be sure that there weren't going to be a problem because I had 4 books and only a couple of days of enrollment. Not a problem. They are cancelling my account.

I hope this helps for those who weren' sure how it works. I would've kept zooba because the prices are so good but I dont want to have to buy a book EVERY month since I dont read that fast. Besides I also have Literary Guild which I have had for a long time.

Thanks for the clarification. I also joined Literary Guild. I love to read but find I don't always have the time. I may end up cancelling one of the memberships and at this point Zooba seems like the better deal. PLUS they have a lot more books from authors I like.

Thanks again for the indormation.
